Besides that there happen to be bunny rabbits that live here. like you'll be walking around outside, and there is a wild bunny. Soooo.... cute! We went to this huge pet supply store that happened to have the largest rabbit there I have ever seen. It was like twice the size of the dog my family used to have, I think it was called a giant something... lol, I can't remember. Here is a picture.
I have found two baby praying mantises in our apartment, (which happens to be my favorite insect thanks to my Dad :) so that was exciting. I didn't take a picture for some reason, but below is a picture I found on google images.
When Emily and I were driving back from the Baltimore airport we took a pit stop for dinner. As we headed back to the freeway we were surprised when the car in front of us abruptly stopped. We soon found out why. A bunch of Canadian Geese were just standing around in the middle of the busy road.
All together there were two and a half dozen geese (obviously not all in this pic, more flew in after I took this). A lot of cars stopped and just stared. The birds wouldn't move if we honked or drove straight toward them. Several laid down in the road... too funny!
Then while out selling, Tyler found a quarter size turtle. I would have kept the Turtle if I had found it! I can't believe it was so small!
And then I found a toad the other night. I got brave and picked it up and everything. It was super cool! I haven't held a Toad since I was in elementary school.
I am currently trying to decide which pet would be best for my classroom next year. Maybe a turtle or frog would be neat!
